Dr. Mehdi Snène, currently the CEO a.i at I-DAIR, is a digital health expert and scientist with a strong research focus on neuroscience, cognition, aging, and machine learning. He has founded and managed a mental and brain health research laboratory at the University of Geneva with a great track record of diversified National, European, and International research funding. He has been working on frontier technology in digital health, with a strong emphasis on Quality of Life and Quality of End of Life of patients diagnosed with neurodegenerative diseases. He has led several clinical trials in palliative care, rehabilitation care, and geriatric care with a particular interest in digital biomarkers of pain and discomfort. He joined the EPFL at the project coordination office, for the scientific and technical coordination of the Human Brain project before joining I-DAIR as the R&D Director and deputy CEO.

Studies on eHealth, Interoperability of Health Data and Artificial Intelligence for Health and Care in the EU - Digital Single Market - European Commission
The European Commission is launching a tender for two studies to survey and analyse progress on the digital transformation of the health and care in the EU, in particular with regard to citizens' access to their electronic health records (EHR) in the EU Member States and the development, adoption and use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the health and care sector in the EU. The call for tender includes two specific studies (i.e. The maximum amount allocated to the studies is EUR 300 000 for Lot I and EUR 200 000 for Lot II.
